Pareidolia is an appearance, a form of illusion in which someone has an unclear or random perception and thinks they see recognizable things. I started using this phenomenon in this book full of joy. The goal of this book is to make the person who looks at it laugh, feel comfortable and happy. This book shows images that continue themselves in your own imagination. Try to be open to the unexpected and let yourself be amazed by the images (smileys) that you see, in your own environment.

This project is still ongoing, again and again I keep encountering these laughing figures in my daily life and each time it makes me a little happier. Below are a number of new images that have not (yet) been worked out in a book form.
